Mabel Atta, known as May Atta (born on September 9), was born and raised in Tema, in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. She attended Presbyterian Secondary Commercial Nungua in Accra and later continued her education at the Ola College of Education in Cape Coast to become a teacher. While working as a teacher, she later pursued her Distance education at the University of Winneba for a Bachelor of Education. In 2012, May, Atta pursued her journey to South Africa, specifically East London, as a graduate teacher, and taught there for 5 years. She is married to Apostle Bruce Atta Kyeremeh, and they have been blessed with four children. May Atta's dreams came true as she continued her education in the United States of America, studying nursing at South Puget Sound College in Washington State. May Atta Gospel Music came true with all the struggles and difficulties she underwent while living in the United States. She has come out with two great songs, “Thank You " and Today, “ and is now working with her team to bring more to her audience.
